Poodles are so super smart that we had to list them at #1 of the most intelligent and smartest dogs. For one, poodles can be trained to do almost anything and they are trained so quickly and easily. We have seen Poodles learn tricks after teaching them how to do something one time. Like Border Collies and other dogs, they are very sensitive to their surroundings and can be very sweet when the time is right. Be aware as Poodles get very attached to their owners and many of their owners who baby the poodles don’t properly train them around guests and other people. Therefore, poodles can get a bit aggressive in their older ages as they begin to become more protective of their territory and owners. These poodles that are properly trained and allowed to the time to be around other dogs as much can be aggressive to other dogs as well and attack bigger dogs, therefore, it’s important to be diligent with poodles as they can be a harm to not only your guests feet and legs when they are untrained. All in all, these dogs are great for a family and will become domesticated very quickly, learn your training and tricks very fast and are the smartest and most intelligent dogs in the world.
